Three or more years left in Dallas (with Parcells AND T.O.) with at least one S.B. ring (two or more SB visits as a Cowboy) with the Cowboys as their starting QB. I think Bledsoe will climb many of the NFL stat records and set several Cowboys records before he retires as a Cowboy and later enters the H.O.F as a Cowboy! Stop looking for the next QB and sit back and see what happens-----Bring it on!! By the way I will not be around to respond to all the naysayers that will call me a fool for posting this----BUT----what to hell at least I am OPTIMISTIC!:lmao:

The Answer is not sure if this is a sarcastic post or a serious one, but in any event Bledsoe WILL go out on top! Canton has plenty of room for another HOF Cowboys QB. Bledsoe just turned 34 and is already in the top 10 of most major passing categories. If he stays healthy and this oline improves, it's scary to think about the possibilities....no record is safe!

Parcell's likely won't be around past 2007, might even retire after this year if we win it all. TO should be productive for at least 3 more years unless he resorts to past antics.

Players don't enter the football hall of fame under any specific team...(wrong sport, you're thinking of baseball maybe ???)

I guess you have never been there...check it out some time

If Bledsoe wins 2 rings in Dallas, I'll rip my shirt off like Hulk Hogan.

Funny that we haven't heard anything about a contract extention for Drew. I believe the Stephen Jones mentioned it in an interview -- he was asked something like "are you going to pursue a free agent QB?" and he said, the team was very happy with Bledsoe and likely would be looking to do something to extend his deal.

He currently has a 3-year contract but the 3rd year is for some crazy amount so he is really going into the final year of his deal.

I'm pretty sure that the 3rd year is worth $4.5 mil, whereas this year is worth $3.5 mil. A slight jump, but nothing astronomical that we can't handle.

The Answer feels that re-doing/extending Bledsoe's deal is just as important as re-signing Roy Williams and Witten...actually it's probably more important when you think about it.

The Answer thinks we should extend him this summer because it will be easier to get a deal done than after the 2006 season, especially if he has another probowl or MVP calibur season....

We are what $10M under cap? I doubt that if Bledsoe performs and takes this team deep into playoffs there are any reservations on keeping Bledsoe around for his 3rd year. If nothing else he gets extended.
