Drew Bledsoe

Right now some people with the Buffalo Bills have to be very pissed off. Whether Henson is our future or not. Or if we need to draft our QB of the future he will very lucky to learn on the sidelines behind Bledsoe.

Bledsoe deserves game MVP.

Bus driver my butt. Bledsoe is a QB that can carry a team and win games. He has carried Dallas to 2 wins already.

He aint no statue either. He moved around in and outta the pocket alot and he does feel pressure.

The way he throws. His arm strength might be tops in the NFL. The man has a gun.

If we make the right moves next season Bledsoe is a QB that can win us 1 or 2 Super Bowls.

Great post - The Buffalo crew is in cricket mode. Losman was heinous again today.

Bledsoe took back a game that had gotten away. Great win for us today.....

Bledsoe is going to win offensive player of the week 2 of the first 3 weeks of the season. Little worried about his arm tiring as we go through the season, but the offensive unit is better than it has been in at least 7 years.

Drew's season stats with today....

63 of 98 for 850 yards. 6 TD 2Int

QB Rating - 103.7

1 Rush td.

Mighty fine start.

He might. Brady had more yards, but no TDs, except he had that great 4th quarter comeback too. McNabb had similar stats. Cadillac had another great day but no TDs. Steve Smith put up some big numbers but they lost. No one really stands out in the OPOW, he may just win.

With the two picks he might not win, but he did rush for one, and there were at least 3 plays (2 on the same drive) that should have been TDs: Keyshawn stopped at the 1, Terry Glenn inexplicably stopping on the 58 yard reception, and another Keyshawn at the 1.

Good points.

Glenn stopping had me shaking my head.

The one pick for the Td was horrible. But the other was just a brilliant play by Parrish.

I can't complain one bit about Drew Bledsoe this year.

Originally a Pats fan (and still at heart), I've been an avid Bledsoe supporter for years on the Bills message boards (I've been banned several times!) They hate me but for all the "JP Losman is the future buttholes" I TOLD YOU SO!!

Just saw Culpepper's numbers. They're going to pick him. Great numbers and also sentimental value because he's been so dang awful the last few weeks. It's a Comeback Player and Player of the Week all in one.

2 INTs in 3 games is decent. There will always be deflected INTs, and with 100 attempts, hey, one was just awful, but it's par for the course (of MVP!)

Credit Culpepper - I can't imagine stepping back to throw the deep ball knowing if it's picked you'll have 0 TDs 9 INTs on the year!

Does anyone want to go back to the summer and see who was on the "Bledsoe is crap" bandwagon?

I didn't think so!

Anyone ever notice that whenever they show Vicks stats, they always add his rushing stats. I have yet to see Bledoses rushing TD mentioned on any stat line.

By the way, he passed Unitas today as well.

I am so proud of Drew today it is a big %^$# you to all the Drew haters

We all know Drew was released in favor of JP Losman in Buffalo. They said they needed someone who didn't make mistakes and that their 6 straight wins last year (4 on the road in a 5 game span) were "in spite of" Drew. Isn't it hilarious that Drew had more yards today (361) than JP Losman has all season (352)? And that Drew has as many rushing TDs (1) as JP has passing TDs (1)? The Buffoons in Buffalo's logic was: "Brady and Roethesberger did it, why not JP?"

Bledsoe has been nothing short of amazing through the first three games, IMO. Granted, he didn't lead a game-winning drive last week when he had the chance, but then again, he did have that completion to Crayton only to have it broken up.

But that is neither here nor there. Bledsoe's never been known as a come-from-behind guy, so it's been nice seeing him lead two fourth-quarter comebacks so early in the season. He looks so comfortable throwing downfield, is difficult to bring down, etc. And I can't complain at all about his decision making so far. Everyone makes mistakes but he has kept his to a minimum.

Drew really has been a come-from-behind guy - I'm a New England native and he always seemed to deliver. The "broken finger game" was perhaps his best. He now has 29 4th quarter come backs in his career!

Let me put it this way...for the first time in a long time, when our quarterback drops back to pass on 3rd and long I don't get nervous, I actually get excited.
