Also, Matt Hasselbeck had a 65 QB rating, threw for an INT, was sacked twice, and fumbled once

key is pressure

Also, Shawn Alexander was held to 30something yards on 13 carries

BTW, the greatest running back of all time (even better than Tomlinson), Shaun Alexander was held to 33 yards on 9 carries.

I'll be damned, Vinny Testaverde threw 18/34 for 225 with 2 TD and 2 ints against Seattle last year. Someone call Herm Edwards.

So he puts up 38 points and orchestrates 5 TD drives. Completes 66% of his passes for 275 yards - and there was one of those do we have a punter games!

Just shows Seahags D is vulnerable, especially without Hamlen.

I was just giving you a hard time. I don't rate that game as a ringing endorsement for Drew Bledsoe, but whatever floats your boat.

I already know Seahawks are soft. This will be the blowout game that you predicted for the Giants. Dallas wins by at least 21.

That Seattle game was about the only time late in the season when they let Bledsoe throw it medium-to-deep, and he responded with 3 passes that got picked. The difference this year is that he is used to throwing it 20+ yards, because he has the protection and the receivers to be able to do so.

We'll need better than last week's 2.6 ypc from the running game, though.

Where did the route take him to??? :D
.

It took the Bills from 0-4 to 9-6 before losing the final game to Pittsburgh by a missed Field Goal.

We beat Seattle 43-39 last year. JJ's big night of 198 yards and the game winning run late.

Actually Hasselback smeared our D throwing for 414. Alexander ran for 80.

That game last year was something else what a rollercoaster. I was way up in the beginning all happy about what was going on then they came back and Vinny threw that int that put us down and likely out. Then we came back in the most improbable fashion Keyshawn long TD catch and the onside recovery and then fittingly Julius' draw into the endzone. That was my favorite game last year I was so into it.

I do remember Hasselbeck torching us it was a horrible feeling to see them passing with such ease. Rice had a terrific game as well. I remember us shutting Alexander down until that last TD run he had that seemed like it was over right there. I think it was 40 yds or so - take that away he did absolutely nothing to us. I think we can have similar success against him I also think we can shut down their passing attack with major pressure.

If we can block a decent amount for Bledsoe I think we can go vertical and connect often in this game especially with Hamlin out. Price and Glenn are great threats and add Keyshawn in there you guys this WR core is better with Price in it - you don't believe me now but just wait. Price is a better receiver at this point in time than Crayton was I doubt he is as good a punt returner but our passing attack will absolutely thrive with Glenn Price and Johnson. Hopefully Julius can play if he does I don't see the Seahawks beating us..

JJ needs to get on the field.

We need to get after them early and this should go our way. From what I've read this D isstruggling to pressure QB's without max blitzes.

This could be a big day for our Offense. If we can get to Hasselback often - they are going to struggle to score consistently.

I like this matchup. We need to win this and get an early leg up on playoff race.....

this is a game we need to win if we're going to continue to have lofty expectations and certainly if people are going to start bringing up the term "doomsday" when referring to our defense.

Here's a key to this game.

I posted Bledsoe's Bills game last year as how you get Seahags into a dark alley and punk them. Bledsoe's Bills marched right down the field and scored a TD. Was up real quick and scored early. That took Seahags out of gameplan and reduces the run game threat.

Just as we did to Eagles we scored early and dictated to Eagles. Now if we fall behind early Holmgren can start to grinf the run down our throats and start play action more and expose our secondary. Thats my fear - they get up and can expose handoff issues deep that our safeties, corners get into. If anyone can exploit this its MH. Parcells has to know that.

Again, gameplan has to be attack early and take control of game.......
