I'm 21 about to turn 22 but haven't really taken advantage of my ability to consume alcohol. What do ya'll recommend? I don't like anything too strong, so things like Guinness is out. I'm basically looking for some great mixed drinks, I prefer something with Vodka, Gin, or Rum. So far I enjoy a good Gin & Juice, anything along those lines would be good. And I'm not willing to spend a ton so something relatively cheap is good.

Jack and Coke, or Rum and Coke. Except Rum stains your breath.

But I've grown to prefer beer, mostly. Unless it's been a bad day and I'm just looking to get toasted.

Be careful with the mixed drinks. If you order a drink and it has an umbrella in it, you better be passing it to a chick. Knew a guy who would only drink Amiretta (sp?) Sours. NTTAWWT.

Jonathan Dorian?

In that case, stay away from Belvedere @ 60.00 a bottle. :laugh1:

I guess cheap vodkas are Stoli and Absolute. Popov if you really live low (really gross) and don't mind a headache. ;)

I don't know gin beyond Bombay and Bombay Sapphire, which costs more. I like Sapphire and tonic. Very smooth gin.

I don't mind Vodka and cranberry, which eventually brings about wise cracks asking me if I'm having my period, but I can take it.

I don't get the joke or reference. Sorry.

It's the protagonist in Scrubs. He'd always drink some sissy, amaretta drink. And they usually had an umbrella in them.

Basically, you = ripped off TV show.

Nah man I ain't looking for sissy mixed drinks. I'm looking for things like gin & tonic and the caipivodka.

If so, it was unintentional. I'm a pretty unoriginal guy, but I wouldn't rip off a show as well known as Scrubs. Truth be told, I've never even seen that show, despite several people telling me how funny it is.

I just ran outta Silver Patron which kinda bums me out. Just got New Amsterdam gin & Smirnoff vodka.

Then maybe your "" "friend" "" is the one doing the ripping then.

If you like tomato juice a Bloody Mary is hard to beat, especially if you like spicy things because you can make them as hot as you want. Tomato juice is great in beer as well, maybe throw in a few green olives.

I don't recommend doing it for the heck of it.
Nah man I have enough moderation that I wanna be able to order a nice drink in the future. I just wanna figure out what drink fits with me.

Don't really like the Tabasco or tomato juice involved in the Bloody Marry.

Grey Goose and orange juice is good.

Grey Goose and pretty much anything is good.

Haven't really. I'll probably try it once I run outta Smirnoff, but I haven't heard great things about it.

Mid 2000's to current. Well recent.
It's dead now, once Scrubs got rid of most of the main cast no one wanted to watch.
