Yeah with some cranberry juice. I liked it.
I've tried just about all of them, even the rubbing alcohol that's labeled "Taaka."

We used to drink that in high school, awful stuff. One time on a camping trip, a friend of mine brought a handle of an extra-super cheap whiskey called "Yellowstone". That was, by far, the worst alcohol I've ever tasted and it came with a killer hangover. Bad times ::shudder::

Fire fly actually makes a sweet tea vodka that you just mix 1:1 with water. I got a bottle in my freezer right now.... now that you mention it.... :scram:Gzus;3400888 said:That does sound good. I love me some sweet tea so I'll have to look into that.

Just grab a bottle or two of single malts and start experimenting. If you can get it at your local bar, it's not that great. They typically stock a few low end Scotches, like Macallan 12 year or Glenlivet 12 year. Macallan 18 ain't bad and Macallan 25 is really good.vta;3401114 said:What is a good scotch?

I prefer what are called Islay Scotches (they're made on an island call Islay). Bruichladdich or Caol Ila are good, but these may require a more developed Scotch taste because they're certainly more "flavorful." Caol Ila is by far my favorite Scotch.
I would get something like a Dalwhinnie or a Talisker as a starter.

Don't get any blended malts.

Do those come with pronunciation guides?? :theogt;3401129 said:Just grab a bottle or two of single malts and start experimenting. If you can get it at your local bar, it's not that great.
