That’s reference isn’t necessarily to his first year. But that is the expectation .

Unless frustration and disappointment is going to feel better with upgraded coaching? :)

it’s becoming the expectation! He gets a window and in that window the time to fix the issues and improve the team and this offseason was a very good start to that.

I certainly sleep better at night knowing I planted seeds .

There’s no doubt despite the continued financial support there has been a fallout locally for which I better represent than some afar internet fans.

Apathetic fans locally have grown over the years.
Oh yeah. That is another classic. You’re a super fan because you are local.

Still seeking attention. Needy baby, greedy baby.
He’s just using his powers as an influencer to change people’s minds and make them understand just how bad and fat Mike McCarthy is and how he was forced to hire Kellen Moore at gunpoint.

He’s saving the fan base one person at a time.

Impressive.

You guys are funny. Greg starts one of his trap threads with plenty of bait and you take it. He's been doing this as long as I have been on these Cowboys forums.

He's like this smart*** antelope doing the moonwalk in front of the pride of lions. He likes to get cornered and throw himself on the mercy of the court. Then, he'll come right back and do it all over again.

And accept if for what it is, stimuli to get response and no reason to let it get personal. And is not there some truth in it? Do we not sell ourselves or end up blaming Booger because we bought into his BS?

Hope springs eternal but we've been told hope is not a plan. It is when we're not in charge but along for the ride. Some feel they need to back their hope up with some facts or logic but neither is necessary. Hope floats until it is dashed on the rocks of despair.

But let's be honest, does their winning or losing really affect our lives? It doesn't affect theirs, why should it affect ours. It's just a game.

Kind of a Troll thread but I'll give some analysis to try to get back on track

Reasons to drink some yummy spiked Kool-Aid:

1. New coaching staff. Anyone that doesn't agree is brain-dead.
2. #1 Offense basically still intact plus large upgrade WR
3. Fairly beefed up Defensive line.
4. New kicker and Special teams coach
5. Good reports from camp on LVE and Jaylon (I'm really hopeful they return to form, this is probably wishful thinking).

Reasons to not drink spiked Kool-Aid and switch to your favorite liquor (I realize everything can't be perfect):

1. The secondary (we are rolling with a bunch of rookies). I don't know why this org can't ever seem to get us a ball-hawking, shut down secondary.
2. The o-line is iffy at best, with the current injury to Collins, it could be ugly.
3. They didn't replace the punter

Overall for me, there is far more reason this year to drink some kool aid. #1 for me is that "The Clapper" is history. Might be enough reason to win the division right there. Super Bowl, I am not feeling it but I do think we can go deeper just because the coaching staff is upgraded.

Its probably part of this item but I really think the new defensive scheme will be huge, especially with the formations that put DLaw, Griffen and Aldon Smith on the field at the same time.

Garrett fans out in full force hoping anything can go wrong. What’s the worse that happens.. they go 8-8? collapse down the stretch? Show no balls or confidence whatsoever? choke away yet another season? Now it’s Super Bowl or bust in a new coaches first year. lol

Oh yeah, and holding "our feet to the fire", while they've been wrong about everything for the entire Garrett tenure. That's the part that somehow gets omitted.

And obviously his protests really hot Jerry in the pocketbook. The stadium, the Star complex, the yacht. How Jerry is surviving under his onslaught is incredible.
