How would you feel about that if Adalius Thomas was playing opposite Ware next season? I know I'd sure feel better.

I think he'd be a great complement to Ware.

I really hope JJ picks up a player like him in FA next year. Right now, it's too easy on offenses simply tee-ing off on Ware.

I think one more pressure LB to complement Ware would be absolutely HUGE.

I think this is the first game where Ellis' absence really caught up to us. Guys like Carpenter and Singleton can do the job against the run, but rushing the QB ain't their thing.

Safety play was dismal tonight as well. Especially Keith Davis. He seemed lost much of the time and Roy Williams was obviously afraid of getting his *** handed to him deep again, so he gave a nice 10 yard cushion on most coverages. LB play was pretty solid, but those who are concerned about Dline pressure are half right. There needs to be ALOT more, but there was some pressure tonight...just no sacks. I wondered if the Dallas players were wearing extra long cleats or something...seemed like several were "pulling up" on their rush like they were afraid of slipping or something???

I attribute the defense let-down as much to a very good Giant offense. Those guys have a lot of weapons and they were playing a spirited game at home.

This was the Giants season. There was no way we were going to dominate them.

Right...and you can't stop everyone on every play. It just was the hit a few big gains at the wrong time for us. Overall I think the defense did ok for not getting any pressure on manning. Again just falling short of the sacks, especially on blitzes.

Why can't we get to the QB on blitzes, that still bother me.

We were close a couple of times (esp. up the middle), but Eli M. did an excellent job of sidestepping them.
