I downloaded this one program (DriverUpdaterPro) and it said I have 16 drivers that are out of date. But I dont want to pay for the thing. And can't find a torrent for it :D

Anyone know of any freeware that will do the job?

Windows update.

Chose the custom instead of express option.

I check them manually every equinox. Same for firmwares (e.g. the router).

I don't see the option on Vista.

It brings up the Windows Update screen and then I go to settings and it doesnt have the option. Where's that at?

When I go to device manager and pick the device I want to update and click "update driver" it doesn't find anything, and says I have the best driver available.

Perhaps Driver Updater pro is lying to you to get you to make a purchase and Vista is telling you the truth? I'd say trust your Vista and your good to go, unless you just have money burning a hole in your pocket, go buy unnecessary software.

No it's not. There were a couple of the drivers that I went and searched for myself (audio and a network driver) that I needed to update so it was right on those.
