I agree. Not only that, I don't think the hardware manufacturer should have any say at all. Once they sell you the hardware, it's yours. Not theirs.

I like the new ipad phone. Its shiny and i like the size of the touch pad but its really cumbersome and gets terrible reception. I haven't been able to make a phone call with it and no one has called me on it yet.
