Dropping interceptions is a disease

This will get lost in the shuffle. But the play that killed us near the end of the game was when No. 30 dropped the sure pick and likely return for a touchdown. Instead the Rams got it back, made a first down on the next play and marched downfield for the field goal. That was a 9-point swing.

There's some sort of conventional wisdom in football that the athletes who can catch end up at receiver and the athletes who can't end up as defensive backs. I wonder how dumb that CW is. Because turnovers are a huge, huge factor in who wins and who loses. My hunch is that a team that catches their 50/50 interception chances probably wins two more games and the ones that don't lose two more.

The strip sack not recovered by Crawford was another one. Would have probably gone up 30-16 there.

There were a lot of missed opportunities in both sides really.

But "seasoned" teams like ours are supposed to pull those out.

Our team seems more fat and happy than anything.

Or Crawford not looking down when looking for football in 5 yard line

Add not getting fumbles to that. Not getting that Goff fumble was big.

It's hard to imagine most not seeing that ball. Right after he touched it bounced in front of his stupid overly big head.

That was easy for a player.

Missing that fumble was bad. It would have been a game changer. CB's dropping ints is pretty standard across the NFL. You know that saying, there is a reason CBs are not WRs

It is the attitude of the HC
Fat and happy with no accountability

I don’t think they played fat and happy at all. Just got outplayed in the 2nd half. Part of that was being conservative /scared, but sometimes a team just outplays you.

Oh I watched the game. We can't sit here and clamor "had we picked off passes!" Yet not say the same about the Rams.
I saw you watching Sean. I need you in the game!

Now stretch it out and get ready.

Especially when even looking like you are being dominated you still put up 30 and as moose said missed 2 because of a poor holding call
