Is it me or did our WRs drop as many passes today as they did all season? Not that it was a lot, but they are usually pretty sure handed.

I think Bledsoe made some really bad throws and when you have a QB doing that, the WRs tend to be a bit more unsure as well. But yes, there were a lot of drops as well, more than usual.

I noted that in the first quarter, Glenn dropped a 25 yard gain...right off his chest...

and then Key dropped the next pass...

Bad start for a couple of vets.

Our WRs did get off to a shakey start......Not what we you expect from Vet receivers in a big game.

I didn't look at it as a big deal, though. We still got yards, they got catches, etc. We are very fortunate to have 3 sure handed wrs. One of them is almost back on the field.

man - I've talked a lot about Crayton today.

I'm gonna get an agenda stamp.

Wear that badge proudly. Crayton was the most clutch option we had early. It seemed like all his catches were at crucial times. Since his injury a lot of drives have stalled that I think he made a difference on.

One catch that didn't count was Key's one-handed miracle grab in the endzone when he was falling out of bounds.
How the heck was it even possible to come down with that ball?

The majority of dropped passes today were well thrown usually hitting the receiver in stride. Of course that was only 3 or 4 but it could make a world of difference.

i thought that might be ruled a catch as key was being driven out of bounds by the defender...

I thought the ref was signalling a force out at first, too. Kinda got forgotten after scoring soon after.

Yeah, the first two plays of the game were a harbinger of things to come.

The first two began with Terry Glenn, then Keyshawn, respectively. :banghead:

Dallas comes out flat period. KEy players make drops. IF dallas shows up, we win this game. That's been the biggest if. I KNOW we make the playoffs, the problem is, the 2005 Dallas Cowboys have too many IFs, and they just come up flat on certain occations , that Im not willing to bet they get to the SB. It's an up and coming team. I think next year we do some real damage, this year, there's too many issues, even with the vets, on this team , to go out and get to the SBl.

August, 10-6, November, 10-6. The story hasn't changed much
