Drought

Being a Dallas fan since '77 and following 3 Superbowl wins in the 90s, no one and I mean NO ONE ever thought that the Cowboys would not see another Superbowl visit for 30 years. Taking it one step deeper, not even a NFC title game. Exiting Week 5, the 2019 Cowboys lost their 2nd straight game, this time to the Packers. The 1st half performance Dallas fans have seen numerous times through this 3 decade drought. The team looked like a high school team filled with penalties, turnovers, dropped passes and a defense that looked completely lost. A semi truck could drive through the middle of the DL. 10 days ago, Dallas had a 2 game lead in the NFC East and are now tied with their rival Eagles.

Jerry keeps trying to get his favorite toy back into the promise land before The Creator calls him home but as each week and season ends, his re-visit looks less likely. With how this team has looked the past two weeks, against winning teams ( No/GB), chalk up another dream for Mr. Jones
