Okay, I've had a couple of Captain and Cokes and a few Coors Light's that were left over from Turkey Day (Yeah, I'm a light-weight. So sue me!) My hazy breakdown....

1. Going to be a tough game regardless the record of the Giants. Never an easy win at Giant's Stadium.

2. I'm still enjoying our close to dominating dismantling of the Raiders.

3. We are 8-3! That's good enough for 1st place in the NFC East heading into a tough 5 game stretch for the month of December.

4. Our defense is not the same defense that the Giants faced in week 2.

5. We have a legit #1 WR. Sorry Roy.

6. Felix is healthy once again. Yay!

7. Players are holding one another accountable. Not just showing up.

8. I know I'm not the only one who gets the sense that there is something special brewing with our Cowboys.

9. The players want to prove to everyone that this team is a team to reckon with.

10. I've got one helluva buzz going.

This team is capable of great things and almost any scenario is plausible for here on out: anything from 8-8 collapse to 13-3 domination.

To me, these are the things that need to happen to put us over the top:

1. Spencer step up as a big-time pass rusher to complement Ware who seems to be more explosive than he was earlier in the year.

2. The consistency of the running game is still lacking. I don't think Barber is the guy to get it done for us - he has lost a step and can't successfully bounce plays to the outside anymore. I think Choice and especially Felix need to combine for 20-25 touches per game for us to improve our offensive output.

3. OL: penalties and failure to pickup blitzes have been big drive killers for us this year. If they can improve their play, we could become a juggernaut. Hopefully we don't see many more stinkers like the GB/Wash games the rest of the year.
