So let me get this straight. This defense was #1 against the run last year yet everyone is happy we're losing a good portion of the players responisble for that. I think you're about to find out the grass isn't always greener...
Well alot of guys are just in denial.
I've been joking around alot today, and most of these guys weren't that good anyway. But it comes down to a numbers game, although we lost alot of average guys, what we replace them with could be alot worse.
We only have 7 draft picks (unless we trade down, which I'm on board with depending who is available), the odds on us getting 7 guys that can play day one are very very slim. So we find ourselves having to trust Rod, and hope he can pull a needle out of a haystack again.
What will happen is we will add some more average guys, and try to sell it like we have improved.
