DT Lewis Neal

People have mentioned that he played 1tech and DE in addition to 3tech.

Does anyone know which game and quarter that might have occurred.

I've skimmed back over all of the Preaseason games and I have not found him anywhere except 3tech.

I thought I recalled him at DE but now it appears that I was recalling snaps where the DE was aligned wide from a standing position and dropped into coverage. This made it appear that Neal was at DE.

I have not re-reviewed the DTs in all snaps from all games but I'll probably do it at some point.

If someone recalls the specifics it would save me some time.

I can't speak for preseason since I admittedly don't watch them in review like I do regular season games, but as a fan of SEC football I can say he played all 3 positions at various points in his time at LSU. He lacks the top end speed and acceleration to be a consistently effective pass rusher from the edge and his size really limits his effectiveness as an NFL 1-tech however so he will need to stick to being a 3-tech IMO to be successful.

I saw him get doubled frequently and assumed he was at the 1 but he could have been at the three. I assumed he was at the 1 because reports out of camp were that he was playing there.
