We moved Tuinei from DT to OT with much success, but that was way back in the day.
Attempting to move Peters or Tyron to DT in this day and age, I just cannot see that happening.

This is a problem they have been trying to solve since CJ Anderson steam rolled them in the playoffs. My money is on this never getting solved

When was the last time the Dallas Cowboys drafted a decent DT? In 2005 the Cowboys drafted Jay Ratliff in the 7th round. Before that, it was 1991 when they drafted Leon Lett in the 7th round and Russell Maryland in the first. It is has been a position that just have not drafted well. I posted this before but since 1991, when they drafted Maryland and Lett, they have only drafted 1 defensive tackle in the 1st or 2nd round. The drafted Marcus Spears in the 1st round in 2005 as well but he was listed as a DE although he played some DT. Regardless Spears never made a pro-bowl appearance. Even if you call him a DT, it still means they only drafter 2 DTs in the first 2 rounds in 31 drafts.

If they are not going to sign top tier free agents and only build through the draft than they need to adjust their draft strategy to stop ignoring this very important position on defense.

That has been a mystery for sure, I was definitely one of Gallimores biggests advoctes entering the season.
Honestly, I just have no explanation for his average play, thought he would have built on his highlights, and elevate his ceiling, but he has not unfortunately achieved that and has basically regressed at this point.
Same with Bohanna
I do believe Osa can play up still, but I have been fooled by Gallimore and Bohanna so my judgement skills on DTs suck.

Yep, the Rams were the first to expose us, they picked up CJ off the street just a week before that game, and he ran roughshod over that defense.

2018 was long time ago a different staff and almost all new players, and? nothing to do with this year really just the last 3 weeks.
