seriously...

if we are 100% healthy (Henry, Newman)

add a TANK.

add a Glenn.

play mistake free.

even up the time of possession...

how much do we lose to the Tapriots by? do we even lose?... i gotta think we are within 10 points win or lose.

just thinking here... and yes - i will leave it alone after this thread.

(NOTE: i am soooooooooooooooo sick of all of these media lovehounds on the Tapriots jocks that i'm gonna be ill.... they are NOT unbeatable and they will NOT go unbeaten)

If all our players were healthy and able to play and we made no mistakes, we surely have played the Pats much tougher. However, the game is over and nothing changes the outcome of what happen. I've read postings on other fans boards who also claim their team would have won if this and that were different. But it wasn't different and what happened did happen. Just let it go.

If "ifs" and "buts" were candy and nuts, we'd all have a merry Christmas.

Richard Seymour and Lawrence Maroney. No part of the equation huh?

A 20 min. swing in T.O.P.? That's a Cowboys win right there regardless of being healthy and playing a perfect game. If everything was as you mentioned it would be a Cowboys blowout with a larger margin of victory than the Pats ended up with.

You'll have to wait til February for any chance at all that though.

But seriously, the Pats game is over. And that was not a preview of the Super Bowl.

It's alot worse in Seattle-they lost their other DT for the year, Branch is hurt, as is Alexander, Mike Holmgren made a BONE-headed decision by going for it on 4th down INSTEAD of kicking the FG to make it a one score game(and try the onside kick), and they lost to the SAINTS to top it off.

Come on, people, let it go-we HAVE to beat the Vikes next week b/c we have a difficult Nov stretch coming up. IF we do, we're 6-1 going into the bye, and this stupid Pats game will be a distant memory.

guys....

i wasn't trying to cause any controversy here.

i am well aware we got taken to the woodshed in this one. i have put it behind me and am looking forward.

but as i watched the replay and the start (note: "start") of something very positive in the beginning of the 3rd quarter - i couldn't help but think that we had this game in our clutches for a brief moment and proceeded to self-destruct and leave our D to hang out to dry.

the final score seems to be what everyone is hanging their hat on, which is fine. but i believe that we are not far off from getting to the next level.

if we can stay healthy and get better as the year goes on - who knows?

Tapriots are a very good team. excellent. but i believe that it was closer than the final score indicated - and that is what is frustrating.
