good trick to knowAgree. One "exception" I make is for wild/rabid dog/wolf...if they are on top of you; split their front legs open - cracks their ribcages (sry for being a little graphic). So if attacked by dog and end up knocked back, get them by those front legs if possible. Love dogs; just good thing to know in a last resort situation, etc. Just learned that as a kid in case an attack dog got loose or coyotes in WV.
