I think Id go with Fanspeak. I dont think Linderbaum will be in Frederick's class, but he is a walk in stud. Big upgrade over Biadasz. That mock helps fortify both lines and Muma is a quality modern LB

I probably would have went with TDN's before Joseph got a chance to play. Big fan of Suace and McBride

Most of the draft world has Nakobe Dean (6-0, 225) as a top half of the 1st round type pick.
- He would likely be BPA at the Cowboys pick but I think their preference is to draft bigger/longer LBs.
- Parsons 6-3
- Jabril Cox 6-3
- LVE 6-4

I'll be shocked if David Ojabo is available late 2nd.
- His athleticism jumps off the screen when watching Michigan.

CB is one of the deepest positions on the team for 2022.

Jordan Davis is overrated.

John Ridgeway is underrated.

It seems that the major of Cowboys mocks are going to have Ridgeway and/or Muma.
- I assume because the draft media currently has them rated lower than where they'll actually get drafted.

I reviewed 3 full games of Charlie Kolar and I could only find 2 snaps of him blocking inline as a traditional TE.
- OK as a late round pick but he is really just a big WR.

Jordan Davis is not overrated.

He is what this teamneeds someone to take double teams and free up the DEs and rotate fresh legs of our two young studs.

We are bad against the run.

Mathis and Ridgeway are good aswell.
But we need to stop this running crap to push the pass and get more sacks and Ints

I'm hoping that the 49ers don't expose how big a need someone like Jordan Davis is. Ther run game vs our interior DL scares me.

Our run defense is middle of the pack but we seem smallest in the biggest moments.

I don’t think our DL is necessarily the issue. Our linebackers outside of Micah are awful. Not passable. They are awful.

I was mentioning it all through the game thread yesterday that LVE was simply getting moved around by the Eagles linemen last night. Secondly, if you’re not going to be physical at the point of attack, then you need to have the instincts and athleticism to knife through would-be blockers to make the play. We all know that ain’t LVE’s game either.

With all that said, I wouldn’t mind Jordan Davis if the board fell a certain way. I think we need to continue to add talent to the DL and especially the LB position.

Big fan of Ridgeway. I can see him developing in an Aikeem Hicks type big DT that can rush the passer. I compliments our group of DT's well, and if we stay in Quinns line scheme he can play in multiple spot ala Red Bryant

Im not high on Davis, but if he can develop as a pass rusher like Dalvin Tomlinson did his value in the top 50 wouldnt be as bad as I think it is right now. Giants got killed for taking Tomlinson that high, but he became a very good 3 down big DT

Some great points and if Devin Lloyd or Nakobe Dean are available, I'm taking those guys.Second round I like Wyoming's Chad Muma, and Day 3 guys I wouldn't mind are Iowa State's Mike Rose and Montana State's Troy Anderson. Free-agent wise, Jarrad Davis seems like a Will McClay-reclamation project we could take a shot on, but he was awful on a bad Jets team this year. I also really like Chargers LB Kyzir White. If Keanu Neal's asking price is not too high, it makes a ton of sense to bring him back. LVE has deteriorated to a point where you just can't bring him back

What a lot of fans fail to see in their obsession with quick, gap-penetrating tackles, is gap integrity. Jordan Davis (or similar type DT's) can help clog the gaps and keep your linebackers free to flow to the ball.

Fanspeak/ my concern is the oline but Falele [sp] i worry about injuries because of weight

DT is still a need IMO but honestly, I'd go the Fanspeak draft here. We need to overhaul the OL IMO.

Linderbuam is a ********* no brainer at 25.

That being said, I seriously doubt Linderbaum would get past Philly given they have the 15, 16 and 19th picks. They love adding OL and with Kelce likely down to his last year or two, Linderbaum would make a ton of sense for them with Dickerson having settled in at OG for them.

I don’t think they care a whole lot about linebacker.

They Like how dynamic Kearse, Neal, and Wilson are and don’t have a lot of interest in “real” linebackers.

That may change with Quinn’s departure.

I hope not.

Most of this league does not care to run the ball and classic linebackers are becoming like fullbacks of the defense.

You need a bunch of strong safeties on defense to keep up with these pass happy teams.
