Dueling Mock Draft Simulators 1-8-22

Some great points and if Devin Lloyd or Nakobe Dean are available, I'm taking those guys.Second round I like Wyoming's Chad Muma, and Day 3 guys I wouldn't mind are Iowa State's Mike Rose and Montana State's Troy Anderson. Free-agent wise, Jarrad Davis seems like a Will McClay-reclamation project we could take a shot on, but he was awful on a bad Jets team this year. I also really like Chargers LB Kyzir White. If Keanu Neal's asking price is not too high, it makes a ton of sense to bring him back. LVE has deteriorated to a point where you just can't bring him back

What a lot of fans fail to see in their obsession with quick, gap-penetrating tackles, is gap integrity. Jordan Davis (or similar type DT's) can help clog the gaps and keep your linebackers free to flow to the ball.

Great DT are the key to the defense and to great LB play

I remember when Ngata was coming out, I was in Cleveland and the Browns were rumored to like him or Wimberly (DE) with the 12th pick. Ravens had the 13th pick. Ray Lewis apparently went to the FO that he was tired of getting hit and unless they took Ngata he was going to leave. The Ravens actually traded up one pick with the Browns just to make sure they could get Ngata and the idiot Browns took Wimberly. A great DT changes the defense

I don’t see Davis as a Ngata type of player. This team just doesn’t value players like Davis in round 1. When this team can essentially line up and run the football against anyone, Is when they become a real threat. If you can add players from this class to help get you there go fo it.
