First mock is what I would want them to do. Second is what I think they will do, as of now.

FA
LB Bobby Okereke 2yrs 8m/yr

Trade- Steelers move up from 21 to pick 12... Cowboys get picks 21, 53 and 135 about an 8 point overpay for the Steelers.

The Steelers move up to draft LT Monroe Freeling, Broderick Jones just had neck surgery and they have to decide on his 5th year option by May. He wasn't that great last year either. This gives them a LT of the future and saves a 19m dollar 5th year option next year.

20. DE/OLB Akheem Mesidor, Miami
21T. 4i/3-tech Peter Woods, Clemson
53T. Slot Keionte Scott, Miami
92. FS Bud Clark, TCU
112. LB Jack Kelly, BYU
135. 4i Chris McClellan, Mizzouri
152. CB Thaddeus Dixon, UNC
177. TE Dae'quan Wright, Ole Miss
180. OLB/Edge Mason Reiger, Wisconsin
218. 4i James Thompson Jr., Illiniois

A lot of 4i DT's... Quinnen is really the only one they have on the roster, if they consider Kenny Clark a Nose Tackle. It seems like CP wants to play bigger DT's at his 4i spots. 300-315lbs ideally.

Priority UDFA's
RB Kash Jones, Georgia
WR/PR/KR Malik Benson, Oregon
OT/OG Ethan Onianwa, Ohio State
C Ben Coleman, Arizona State
Edge Keyshawn James-Newby, New Mexico
4i Jeffrey M'ba, SMU
NT Cole Brevard, Texas
LB Bangally Kamara, Kansas
CB Noah Avinger, Utah State
S Jakari Foster, LA Tech
P Jack Stonehouse, Syracuse

What they will end up doing
12. LB CJ Allen, Georgia... this would be my least favorite thing they have done in a while. He would be in the 50's for me.

Trade- Chiefs move up from 29 to pick 20... Dallas gets picks 29 and 74 a 10 point overpay by the Chiefs.

Chiefs moved up to draft TE Kenyon Sadiq, Kelce is declining and it should be his last year.

29T. DE/OLB Zion Young, Missouri... the new outside LB's coach recruited him in high school, familiarity wins out here.
74T. NT/4i Darrell Jackson, Florida State... lost like 20lbs for the combine, his drills looked smooth for a big guy.
92. Slot/Edge Harold Perkins, LSU... they are doing a lot of research on this guy.
112. LB Kaleb Elarms-Orr, TCU... super fast LB, will remind CP of Zack Baun.
152. FS Louis Moore, Indiana
177. 4i/NT Nick Barrett, South Carolina
180. Edge/OLB Ethan Burke, Texas
218. 4i/3-tech Rene Konga, Louisville

I like most of the players they would pick and where they got them. I would have a problem with Allen going that high and Perkins is to risky. I would hope Kilgore or Stukes would be there at 92 instead.

Thanks for the works - think there is a great possibility they trade up or down with 12. Seems most mocks have Cleveland taking Freeling at 6, who most likely also makes it to 12. This is only if certain players are still available at 6. 12 might also be attractive for teams looking for OL & WR help, maybe even Simpson.

Man I like both of them tbh. Feel like you can get CJ at 20 however. Like Jack Kelly a lot as well. Both alpha MLB’s.

I think these both do a pretty good job of getting good players in later rounds, but just some guys early I don't like.

I'm almost entirely out on Mesidor. He's just so old and has such a long list of injuries I don't think he has much ceiling. Zion Young is one of my favorite players in the draft (I'd be fine with him at 20 probably), but I just don't like Allen at 12 lol.

Clark - Kelly - McLellan would be a great run.
