Yup, especially with Spencer out for a while.

Better than Proctor? I'm not big on bring in every player who just got cut, but I think Preston is what we're looking for.

And I imagine, he'll cost less than the $1.54 mil we're scheduled to pay Proctor.

Can not fault this logic.

What kind of grade do they give for staying in a 3 point stance until the whistle has blown and your QB is lying on the ground?

The Bills' OL is so putrid, they may consider a trade of Parrish for Proctor (and a 2nd day pick?).

We would be getting the short end of that bill considering that Parrish is a #5 WR at best and is being paid nearly $5 million per over the next three years. We couldn't afford that right now.

Disagree with everything you said. Hurd and Austin have history of getting banged up. Ogletree and or Stanback unknown. People are banking on too many things going right.

Do you think if we get him ther will be time for him to learn the delayed center snap that we mastered last year.It could be especially criitcal here to deflect attention from the jumbo screen and the punting problems. Serioulsy I agree its time to churn our roster..

Obviously if someone were to get injured things will change. But if everything went correctly Parrish would be no better than #5; I've watched every game of his career (both college and pro), the guy simply isn't a good WR. Now as a PR there are few out there who can touch him.

Number 5 receiver he MAY be, but Parrish would be the STARTING PR and KOR (pro bowl caliber). Proctor is a backup, at best.

Buffalo-Green Bay replay is on nflnetwork right now. I have no idea if Preston got to play in it though.

Maybe it wasn't such a bad thing that they beat us to the punch in the draft.

Unger hasn't even moved up to 2nd on the depth chart yet.

Preston would be an upgrade over Proctor, and he can play virtually every position on the OL. He also have quite a bit of starting experience during his time with the Bills. I would be all for this.

Pho, the lady chain-smoker, who works on my radio transmitter, the one with an arthritic hip, would be an upgrade over Proctor.

he did and did not play that well. And that is why he is now looking for work. Of course he was not going to beat out Spitz and unless Wells was the one traded, Preston was the odd man out.

I'm watching some of it now. He's playing RG, and I still think he would have a chance to beat out Proctor.

I don't think it would be too favorable.

We do not need this player.....he would have to learn our schemes....would not work:starspin

With that kind of thinking, no team would ever upgrade the bottom of their roster.
