Knee injury so they IRed him. He is basically a red shirt. He'll be back in 2018.

He was already on IR when cuts happened but no I am not surprised they kept him. He played well. Sticky coverage and physical.

He did. It's too bad that injury derailed him. I think that he would have been that 6th cornerback and the trade for Benwikere would have never happened.

So if you are on the IR and get healthy during the season, are you able to participate in practice or help out with the practice squad or are their rules against that? Can he rehab at the Cowboys facility?

May he fare better than others in recent history at recovering and contributing to the Cowboys. The coaches must see something special in practice is all I can imagine as my take on him was average. Hopefully he has A Browns trajectory from last year.

No, can't practice. Can workout with the team and go to meetings. Can work with the trainers on the side but can't take part in team practices until next year.
