Not as good as the chiefs (obviously they drafted high + traded their DE for a 1st and other picks) but great in value as far as position and number of picks and where the picks were at. It's going to be tough to get a undrafted player on this team but maybe the coaches can get a player who catches their eyes.
I'm glad to hear all of these positive evaluations. I admit I have been really down in the mouth. Jenkins was the only player I had on my wish list that we drafted.
I don't dislike Felix but I liked Stewart and Mendenhall. After reading all of the remarks about Mend. and Felix I feel much better about him.
I didn't know much about Bennett except what I read in some drafniks books but the more I find out about him the more I like him.
I really liked the Charles pick and the Cousins pick. I liked them both before the draft but didn't have them on my list. I think they are both good picks.
The cb Orlando pick was over my head. I had to do quite a bit of researching to see he is a good value at that pick.
The last pick, a 240 lb converted de seems like a real stretch unless he is a terror on STs.
I had hopes for a top WR, especially in the second rd. I liked Devin Thomas and two or three more so I am disappointed in missing out on a WR. My basic problem with this draft is that it is long on potential and short on production. If they live up to production this could be a top notch draft. Otherwise it could be a downer.
I feel much better late night than I did when the picks were being made.
