Dumb Kick Returners

Dunbar routinely brought the ball out on kick returns when he receives it 7-8 yards deep and it finally cost him his season. Tonight, when we were already losing the field position battle, Whitehead brought one out to the 13. Like when will these coaches tell these guys to use better judgement when receiving the ball so deep. I get those guys are trying to make a play but more often than not, they barely get the ball out to the 20. Gotta be better in that area.

I will assume that the ST coach is stupid. When you have 2 different players doing this, it makes me think it's on the Coach. No way two different players are this dumb.

Don't sweat him trying to make a play by taking it out of end zone. I mind that has the hand strength of a severely arthritic geriatric.

Well it is coaching, they are told to run it out , or at very least not told to not do it.
It makes no sense to run them out with without a VG dedicated return guy like lockett or tavon austin.
Too many times they dont reach the 20, then there is risk of a fumble, I saw one team lose a game over that, then the player can get hurt like dunbar.

Run back punts but not kickoffs.

Coaching issues? No freaking way. We have the mad genius over there getting this team prepped to play hard. Isn't that enough?

I agreed and was mad at Whitehead during the game, but when your offense is going three and out every possession, why not try
