Is it time to start looking at one of these guys and see'ing if they can find some daylight in the run game?

I like Murray. I think he's a good player but the guy is just 2 yards and a cloud of dust right now.


The offensive system is so bad that our only hope is if we start getting some big plays out of the backfield. Dunbar fumbling was a bad site yesterday but we're so desperate that I think we have to just keep throwing him out there.

I think it would be a good idea to start dividing the carries up a bit. Dunbar would be my choice, but that fumble might have hurt his chances.

I go with Dunbar. I think that he was trying to do too much on that fumble. But, I agree that we shouldn't give up on Murray, but he shouldn't be involved in every series. They need to do a better job of mixing in Dunbar as a change of pace. As long as we get a combined 25 carrier per game, I don't care who gets it. But Murray lacks explosiveness so far this year.

I do too.

If fumbling becomes a pattern, then he can't carry the ball.

But bench him just after one fumble ??

Let him get his feet wet, .. let him feel the tempo and physicality of the field to show what he can do.

He certainly brings a different dimension to the offense.

I don't care who they go with or who takes the most carries as long as they start getting some freaking production in the running game on a consistent basis. I'm already more than tire of 40-50 pass attempts a game. If you're throwing it that much then you're throwing it way to damn much as far as I'm concerned.

I was shocked that Dunbar didn't get more touches prior to the fumble. His one run got us about 10 yards and first and goal at the 5. Why on earth would you then pull him after that one play and throw 3 times from the 5?

Murray was anointed bell cow and all he has produced is sour milk
