Great thread. I love what Dunbar brings and the way Scott is getting him incorporated. The best offenses have many phases and make you defend the entire field. The quick screens and option routes are nice. Dak did a beautiful job of spreading the ball around tonight.

Dunbar had a place in this offense before he got injured and I believe he still does if used correctly. He's not a true RB but he's a guy that can catch the ball and make a move or two.

I think Dunbar is a unique weapon and he reminded us of his ability.

Dunbar had a big game even though his Td was called back on a bs penalty.

He has a role on this team.
Against Tampa Bay......

Holding happens every play, but you have to sell it right. Flail your arms, look around like a lost child, repeat.

I don't want to see much Dunbar on 3rd downs. I just don't. Now isn't the year to get cute and start experimenting and hoping we can bring back Dunbar of old. If it's 3rd and short, Zeke absolutely needs to be in the game.

I just dont see it enough to believe it. Other then that stretch he had in 2015 before his season ended he has been pedestrian. If used right he can create mismatches but they dont use him more for the receiver role. Its a wasted rosterspot when you have 3 other RBs.

Dunbar catches the balls that are thrown to him and is a good blocker. I don't know why people dislike him.

He made one catch on a cut that looked just like Beasley.

Frankly, they should lighten Zekes load the next 2 weeks. DMC and Dunbar are nice compliments that could play more. I wonder what Alfred Morris role will look like moving ahead, seems he is the 4th RB now.

Tampa Bay is pretty good.

Dunbar was really good before injury last year.

Hes been a waste this year and his best play didn't count.

I've defended Dunbar for years, because he gets way too much ish for what he is: a reserve multipurpose back. But I agree that this year he probably should have been released out of camp. Maybe they have plans to take advantage of some of the matchup problems he gives teams here at the end of the season, but up until now, I'd rather have Jackson on the roster so we don't need to add a player to backup Zeke next year when Dunbar and McFadden walk if Moore can't win the job outright.

Yup. He could be another Kevin Faulk if used better.

What's ridiculous is people bashing him because he's a 'progress stopper' for some young RB. If you can't beat out a 3rd string receiving back then you don't deserve to be in the NFL, period.
