Been thinking of who he most reminds me of, and I think this is a fair comparison. Why we're not utilizing him more on screens and pitches outside, is beyond me. I watched this kid closely @ UNT Amd I think he'll be a special 3rd down back...turn 'em loose, Red 'genius'! :rolleyes:

Yes! Did we run 1 screen play last week? !

Similar size and running styles but from what i've seen not even close to the overall caliber of player as Dunn. Look I like Dunbar but if he is anywhere near Dunn, he'd be playing a lot more than he is now especially with Murray out.

Would be nice if he had some blocking support.

Dunbar = Dunn

Lolololol.

Garrett = Bill Walsh

Tanner = Emmitt Smith I'm sure there's a few more.

Warrick Dunn??? Whewwww......don't think so.

Domenic Rhodes--maybe.

It is possible to compare TYPES of players without saying they're the same level of ability, or accomplishments, you realize?

dunbar = 4th stringer

haven't we learned by now that playing hard during preseason and being a nice story don't equate to instantly being a pro bowl player?

Draft = a quality one-cut power back with speed to team with Murray...probably in round 4-5.

Oh. Of course. Absolutely.

They are both football players.

I think he reminds me more of Charlie Garner. It could just be the jersey number though. :laugh1:

Warrick Dunn was a great college runner, a Heisman candidate, and a first-round pick.

One thing I noticed about Dunbar is that after he's down the spots the ball above his head, shades of Emmitt. I'm not saying he's the next E. Smith, not by a long shot. Just an observation, that was one of Smiths trademarks that I remember watching him run.

Tanner = Priest Holmes

Felix = Barry Sanders

Dunbar won't be on the team next year.
Yea, I'm not sure if he'll be on the roster myself next season.

His key to sticking is his contribution to the special teams and he's been less than spectacular as a kick returner to this point.
