Dungy's not the best commentator out there. He really fell off after Bilbo stole his ring if you ask me.

That said, how the heck were the Bucs in that game, really? Down so far in the turnover differential, with Dak and Zeke both playing fairly dominating games, and the defense locking down like they did. I mean, I know the answer: we stalled ourselves in the red zone with penalties and execution errors and missed two kicks that would have made it a two possession game and had a TD taken off the board, but still, it was a weird game that they were able to hang around after so much going well for us, overall.
Turnover differential was really -2 though. The two turnovers at the end of the halves did not really give us an opportunity to do anything with them.

I don't see Dungy as a hater at all . . . his comments are usually fair in terms of how the Cowboys are involved.

I seriously doubt other teams in the league will be afraid of coming to Dallas to compete. We were lucky to win.

Actually -1 was the real differential. Forgot about the fumble.

Disagreed. We absolutely dominated them.

What does it take to be a juggernaut in a league designed for parody? We are about as threatening as any team out there. The list of victories weve compiled this year is highly impressive.

GB
Baltimore
Pittsburgh
Wash x2
Tampa
Philly and Cincinnati before they imploded also.

This team is prepared for playoff competition and regardless of opinions you can damn sure expect defensive coordinators to be up late trying to figure out how in the hell they will stop our run game, Witten, Dez and Beasley all the while knowing Daks got wheels too.

I agree but typically 12-2 teams would be more threatening than teams fighting for a playoff spot. This year it isn't that way. It won't be easy for anyone to beat us in the playoffs but we probably aren't going to steamroll anybody either.

We almost steamrolled the hottest defense in the NFL the last 5 weeks if we didn't miss FG's and shoot ourselves in the foot with penalties.

In terms of how we've played other teams lately, we haven't been dominant at all. In fact, we came within an inch of losing to TB. Other teams will see what has been successful in competing with us lately and play copycat as far as their defending our offense. I'm still quite hopeful, however, that our play calling will become somewhat bolder as far as allowing Dak to incorporate more of our offense into his games. Opening up our playbook more might serve him well and cause opposing teams to make adjustments they hadn't counted on being forced to make. Truth be told, we are in the process of becoming entirely too predictable on offense. Let's see if needed adjustments are forthcoming before declaring them "dominant" in the future.

No one should be scared of Dallas right now. That doesn't mean they should think it will be easy to beat then but they could have easily lost their last three wins and be on an 0-4 streak right now. 12-2 teams typically seem like juggernauts. This team is anything but. If I was a fan of the other playoff teams, I wouldn't be scared of Dallas right now. I would understand that it will take a great game to beat them but I would feel confident my team would have a chance.

No one should be scared of anyone right now. Give me a break. Did you see the Pats today against Denver? They played pretty bad on offense. Raiders are at the top of the AFC, too and looked like junk against the Chiefs last week and weak against the Chargers today.

Seahawks were god awful against GB last week and haven't looked strong any this year.
Falcons?
Lions/Packers?

Name me one team that everyone is shaking in their boots to play in the playoffs.

I'll wait.

That's exactly my point. No one should be scared of anyone including Dallas. That doesn't mean anyone should think it will be easy to beat them just like we shouldn't think it will be easy to beat any of the playoff teams.

Well we shouldn't be scared of anyone, we lost our 2 games by a total of 4 points and if we gain home field advantage throughout, Dak is better at home, and would stand a better chance of succeeding at home than on the road.

I hope no one is scared of us. I hope they go into the game like the Bucs did tonight as confidence was gushing out of them and the start of the game. This game shouldn't have been this close. We totally dominated them, and penalties hurt us again tonight as we stopped our selves.

Eh for the most part dungy this year has stuck with us. I think he only sided against us twice last week and this week. I've thought out of the two Marvin Harrison has been the bigger hater Of us this year.

Marvin Harrison on TV?

I can't believe he said no one in the NFC is scared of Dallas. Does anyone notice the homefield advantage this year?

He's right. But like I had the scold the alien looking old man about rookie QB's, I have to do it here: Games aren't won by fear. They're won by talent and execution.

Say we aren't executing(Dungy). OK

But I don't care about this fear crap

Bad situational penalties and missed field goals....and too many jet sweeps. That's about it.

He should just concentrate on reforming criminals with all his magical powers he thinks he is in possession of.

I really can't stand the guy and I think its absurd he is in the hall of fame, what other hall of fame coaches were fired from their team so that they could take the next step and win a championship? Its nuts to me. anyway, I havent seen his comments yet but I enjoy watching him have to say Dallas played well because I know he doesnt want to.
