Durant is questionable for this week

Guy can't stay within 10 yards of a tight end and is just good for plugging a gap in the run. Not a playmaker. Would rather have Wilber or Toomer the new guy in the game making actual plays. R. McClain would call the plays, and he's the only defensive player that showed up to me last week, along with Mincey and maybe one other.

If Locker is on they are going to have their hands full on defense. Delanie Walker is a pretty good tight end and they have some young WR's over there that can make plays. I think we're in for a dog fight ala KC last year

I'd imagine we'd be looking at Hitchens replacing Durant, and probably Hitchens calling plays, too, right?

grass is always greener on the otherside, until you get there and see that the yellow spots from the dog having p!ssed everywhere....be careful what you wish for

I would hope they wouldn't do that to the kid.

Plug him in and let him play BEFORE you start spinning his head.

That would be disastrous, IMO.

When Durant went out vs. SF McClain called the plays. McClain was adjusting lineman on a few plays. Thought he did good. Proud of McClain for coming in and having to fill Lee's shoes this quickly after not playing entirely for a year.

Locking up Walker will be nowhere near as complicated as TRYING to lock up Vernon Davis. Walker is good, but no one is the freak that Vernon Davis is.

I know it sounds kind of crazy. But by most accounts, he's more solid with the defense than McClain is. We know Carter's not going to make the calls. Toomer or Lawrence aren't likely to play in those sets. I suppose Wilber might be the guy and they flip Carter back to WIL? That means juggling two positions, though. Not sure who the play caller is on defense, otherwise.

I suspect you're right. I think the final score will be within one score.

Who is the RB for the Titans this year, and is he any kind of a threat?
They have 4 on their roster, but I have no idea about any of them. Will he be a threat to any of our LBer's?

I don't know man.....Delanie isn't the athlete Vernon is but he can cause a problem out there as well. He would probably still be a 9er if Vernon wasn't there. He's another one of those big fast tight end's just like Vernon.

Its hard to tell. WE did a pretty good job of shutting out Frank Gore but when Hyde got in as the change of pace back he would hit the hole so fast before we get a touch on him he'd be 8 yards deep.

Toomer was a late team addition, maybe he gets a shot at it soon.

I would rather see Toomer as well. Hitchens only in short yardage situations. I do not see a Marinelli type WILL when I watch Hitchens play. He's just okay.

If Durant is out, do you move Carter back to Sam and put Wilber in at the Will?
