Can he give us 2 solid games and help hold the fort down until Lee gets healthy?

Lets put it this way........no way in hell Jaylon Smith should start over Durant (lol)

100% agree lol

Durant has played well in the past and at least understands the defense. Jaylon is out of position too often.

Durant will be at the right place and I believe he will make the right read— BUT does he have enough left to physically do the job these next couple games?

I heard a comment about Durant on the Talkin' Cowboys podcast that concerned me. When his name came up, Broaddus said "he retired". As if to say that he's stopping working at it and is simply collecting a paycheck. That stuck out to me and was very disappointing to hear because they can really use another option to limit Smith's snaps and exposure.

Broaddus was even mentioning March-Lillard as a better alternative.

I'm at the point where ANYTHING is a better option than Jaylon Smith (lol)

Well, hell, didn't he want to retire the past two offseasons before we called him to come back?
Mentally, I'm sure the guy had checked out during the offseason, so I do wonder how focused he is during the regular season. Out of all the FA linebackers, we continue to go back to a guy who wants to retire, instead of looking to improve our depth.

Durant just needs to play one more game. I'll worry about next week, next week.
