So he'll be back and have a shot at a SB. Don't understand the hate for him. He was a great Cowboy for many years.

Yes he was. And he made a point of not playing for a division rival, no matter the contract. I got nothing but love for that dude, and I think the attempts to minimize his production are straight-up redonkulous.

i didnt appreciate wanting us to pay him like a 16 game top player for 8 games.

And the FO agreed with you.thats why he plays for Denver now and why we have invested so many high picks in the yrs since he left in the defensive line. .

I'd offer a contrast in the way he handled his situation vs the way Murray handled his.
Ware truely did want to play for a Super Bowl. Murray .... He just wanted to get his money and stick it to jerry.
The fFO probably made a good call with the timing of his departure but geez people d ware was one of the best to wear the star and would rival as one the classiest too

Great? No. He is the epitome of empty numbers. Sure he had good individual numbers but never made his team better. He was pretty much D-Where? when you needed him most. And he wanted big money for only playing half the games. He likes to take a vacation in the middle of every season.

Charles Haley made more of an impact in a few years than Ware did his whole time here.

And how did he do last year in the playoffs? Got no further than we did.

Yea Haley did more because he was part of a great defense. Ware was playing with a bunch of scrubs for the most part. Ware is also an aging player. Blaming him for injuries at this point of his career is petty. We've had injuries left and right this year and many have nothing to do with age. I love Lee but look how he's been for us. Can't stay on the field and that's been going on since he got here.

Never made teammates better? Did you forget Jason Hatcher and Anthony Spencer had career years playing with D-Ware?

The disrespect DeMarcus gets is absurd, he's one of the greatest defensive players of all time and will definitely be in the Cowboys Ring of Honor and Hall of Fame one day. He also played in all sixteen games all, but once in his career in Dallas so to say he misses half the season is ridiculous.

LOL @ blaming Denver's postseason flameout on Ware. Peyton Manning was a shell of himself down the stretch last season and so far this year. That's not D-Ware's fault. That offense only scored 13 points in that playoff game.

I always considered him a great player. And I appreciate him staying out of our division when he left. Unlike he who shall remain nameless.

I agree.

Especially when you look at this:

So, he missed all of 5 games in his first 10 years in the league. In the first 8 years, he missed a whopping 1 game.

It would be like complaining that the 80-hour work week guy 'takes vacation off all of the time' because he's not working on Xmas.

I put those running down Deware with the romo haters= pure stupidity.

I dont hate him. I dislike him like I do Murray, and I like Tony for the same reasons.

Tony took less than market to stay on a team he's bought into.
Ware and Murray left to get more money elsewhere.

Loyalty.

Look at the year.

2013.

Every single one of them.

Nobody is saying that his last year with Dallas he didn't have injury issues. But, it wasn't a 'usual half season' with Ware. Far from it. He also played an incredible % of the team's snaps. I know somebody can get that data on here.
