For home games do clubs keep the players at local hotels? I thought this was to avoid distractions, now I'm not sure.

That's nothing. I guess he didn't read Jerry West's glory days as GM of the Lakers. Magic and the guys were shuttling women through the lockerroom. Heck, they never made it to the hotel. West told of stories of Magic/players having sex during halftime and directly after games. West said Magic would have sex with women immediately after games, and then come out and do a post game interview. I still don't know if I believe AC Green was really a virgin after hearing all these stories.

I saw Herman Edwards on ESPN this morning talking about this...his stance was very disappointing, saying that Bowe has put himself in a "bad position" and he has to "live with the consequences of saying something like this."

For those unfamiliar, Edwards was the coach there when Bowe was a rookie.

Sounds to me like Herm Edwards' ethics are in question.

Bowe is going to be a pariah in the entire NFL because of this. The one hard and fast rule of all professional sports is that you never share what happens when you're on the road.

Imagine the trouble he's caused the married players on the team........

This whole thing is pretty disgusting and the fans want the guy who talks about it traded. Probably should trade the screwups and get more like him! What a messed up society we live in!

I did not get it either, but this is not the first time Bowe has spouted off. I was talking with two season ticket holders this morning and they want him gone. The talk show callers are saying the same thing. I think the bad memories of Larry Johnson are fresh in the minds of KC fans. Nothing Bowe has done is anything on the level of the LJ antics but fans are not happy unless they have something to ***** about. it reminds me of the overreaction of fans on this board regarding certain people and topics.
