I think he needs to be our 3rd receiver and let T.Wills play behind him and mature a little bit. I feel the spotlight is too big for T.Wills right now. Maybe in the off-season we can get something for Austin via trade and then have T.Wills start next year. I'd rather lose Austin than Dwayne. Harris' hands are very under-rated, i feel, the guy is a clutch receiver at the end of the day.

I expect both guys to see action in this game who starts I don't really care I just want to see both make plays when they are called on. I don't agree the spot light is too big I think like many rookies including Dez he made a mistake he has a chance to learn from that mistake. Meantime I love Harris as well and expect to see him getting snaps as well.

The thing i like most about his Harris are not his hands (although they are OK) its his RAC. He makes people miss (or at least he did last year).

That comment about him over Austin is just silly, though.

He just has no speed to play on the outside with Austin in the slot.

Yep it's all about this. Doesn't matter if Harris' hands are better. Miles has matc-hups in the slot that are just too good to pass up so they want/need Williams to succeed and will give him every opportunity to do so.

I don't think Harris and Williams play the same position, except sometimes.
The question is more of whether or not you want Austin in the slot.

X = Dez (Harris backup)
Y slot= Austin (Harris, Beasly)
Z = Williams (Harris)

or
X = Dez (Williams, Harris)
Y = Harris (Beasley)
Z = Austin (Williams, Harris)

Notice how valuable Harris is under either scenario
