Many of us thought Harris might be an upgrade on kickoff returns.

He did look very good last week.
He now has 5 returns for an average of 31.8....or very near the top of the league, but on a sample size that is too obviously too small.
At least it's promising.

Is he going to be our guy again this week?

I hope so. Last week he did not look hesitant out there as it seemed early in the season. We will see.

Main thing through ball security and be smart about taking deep kicks out. I hate playing offense inside our own 10 yard line

I would think he is as they can't risk Felix back there since he's the main guy at RB again now.

So I'd imagine it's going to be Harris and/or Tree. OBviously Tree sucks at it.

Might as well be the guy. No point in holding anything back this Sunday night.

While they are at it, the Cowboys might as well play some of the young guys on defense.

He wont return any for the distance this sunday.

But mark my words he will bust a few huge gains to set us up with nice Field position.

He did great last week. He may not be fast enough to break it all the way, but who cares if he's making the occasional 30 to 40 yard return.

He looked good out there - read his blocks well and his good wiggle. He also gets upfield pretty quickly.

i hope so he is alot better than run into the back of my blockers ogletree. Ogletree is timid out there. Harris plays fearless. To be a punt and kick returner you cannot play timid otherwise you find guys running into the back of blocker so they do not get hit or they go down really easy/ run out of bounds.

Give me harris. Ogletree doesn't even look better than lissemore returning kicks:lmao2:

Hopefully, he's not returning too many kickoffs this w/e. But if he is, I'd love to see him give our offense a nice head start 2-3 times.
Better yet...take it to the house!

I always thought he should have been the guy from the beginning.

I didn't think he got a fair shot at it the beginning of the year.

I think he can be this team's full time kick returner. Though if Murray is the lead back next year I'd probably prefer using Felix in that role. He's got more burst.

I think as rookie coming in with no mini camps and not much practice, he needed some grooming. I read an article where he says he's studied enough now at this level to understand how to better use is blocking on returns.
I suspect this pro-level coaching is going to help become more polished as receiver fairly quickly because he has the right attitude.

He does have some wiggle and enough speed too.

Yep. I saw that Ogletree was back at practice returning kicks and catching some passes. Let's hope Garrett and DeCamillis saw what was clearly an upgrade over Ogletree and keep Harris active.

Silly me for thinking he would have been a part of our offense this year.

Not really.
L-Rob really saved us at the WR3. Harris was not fully ready early on and then he got hurt.
If Robinson hadn't stepped in so well, you could very well have seen Harris at WR3 or WR4 late in the season.

Anyway, hopefully he can help us this week and in the playoffs on Special Teams

I agree with all that, but I still would prefer Felix returning kicks if Murray is the lead back.

My hope Harris only has the opening KO return and that is it for the day. :laugh2:

It takes talent to get into the NFL but it takes toughness to succeed.
This team has talent.
