If I'm so pretty, why am I available?

I liked the pick. Might be a good player for us, but could someone tell him to stop trying to return kickoffs that reach the endzone? He has done this twice now with negative results. Almost every time I see it attempted in the NFL, it results in a guy lucky to get it back to the 20. It isn't just that the ball is kicked off 5 yards further up the field. It is that the coverage unit starts 5 yards further up the field. I don't think I have seen one really good kickoff return this year. Accept the rule and put a knee down.

He is gonna be a good WR for someone after our dumb dept drops him

I don't see anything special about this kid. Just seems to go through the motions. We have heard that he has a hard time with his routes in practice. Just not excited for him at all.

Bryan McCann is averaging 26.5 yards per kick return this year.

He doesn't do it very often at all compared to others.
Anyway, there have been a ton of 100+ yard returns this season already.

Anyway, it's not like he got dusted on the 5. He got tackled at the 18 yard line.
Two yards and the guy gets a thread dedicated to him screwing up.
He was averaging 28 yards per return going into today....which is good.

It's funny that you say that becasue I was in aroom full of people cussing him for not having the nads to bring it out more often. most people complain that Harris doesn't take nough chance returning kicks and punts. I think he's doing ok...not great or terrible, just ok.

I do think he will be a good recevier someday, however..

You must not watch much football besides the cowboys.

I watch lots of football. Some teams have done ok, but we aren't one of them. Many have been bad too.

Mann it's painful watching this turtle back there....

who was the last real good kickoff return man we had? seems like we've had turtles back there all the time? Miles was pretty good, I believe.

Bryan McCann was pretty good. Unfortunately, he wasn't good enough as a CB

Miles was very good actually, explosive and quick cut. This dude doesn't have ANY wheels to me.

Not to mention that by bringing it out of the end zone you have about a 50-50 chance of getting a block in the back penalty.

I'm not very high on him...forget the future Wes Welker slot WR, I'd rather have a burner WR with elite speed that can be the vertical threat we haven't had since Terry Glenn

I haven't seen much from him yet.

He looks terrible on punt returns although he does field the punts cleanly and hasn't put the ball on the ground yet.

I do hope he ends up being a good slot guy.

I actually really like what our top 4 guys are doing right now.

Otree gets dogged a lot around here but that was a fantastic grab he made for the first and goal. I hope it boosts his confidence because I still think he is our best route runner overall. I like what Robinson has done the last 3 weeks outside of the one INT. I like what Dez has been doing although I wonder if he doesn't wear himself out too much early in the game and I wonder if he knows how to find the soft spots in zones. I like Miles but he drops lots of short passes so I hope we keep him out of the slot (btw, one of the passes today wasn't a drop - the DB got lucky in blindly swatted the ball out of his hands).

The threat is on our team in Dewayne Harris, he is a playmaker anytime the ball is in his hands, he's like Chris Johnson from the titans but at the wide receiver position (they come from the same school), and he is a threat if Jason Garrett utilizes him.

Believe It!

This is his college highlights:

In what way, shape, form or fashion is he anything like Chris Johnson? He's not even in the same zip code in terms of athletic ability or explosiveness.

I was told he'd be firmly entrenched as our #3 reciever by midseason.

Well number 1 and 2 are locked up and I don't see him beating out Robinson.

I wonder if we try and do an extension with Robinson in the next while. He seems to be clicking well with Romo. That connection actually looks much better than Romo-Dez does right now.
