Harris is a playmaker. Plain and simple. He just needs the opportunity. He somehow has a nose for that endzone.

Aside from that, I urge some of you to go back and watch him on plays excluding when he is returning punts. It will blow you away how aggressive he is at times. It's kind of comical really. He blocks his man clean out of the picture sometimes and really ticks them off.

But once again, it's becoming obvious what the play is when he lines up at WR. Garrett is pretty predictable. It's almost always a run. But on kickoffs and on those run plays, check it out sometime. Entertaining stuff.

Agree. Harris needs the ball in his hands. He doesn't have the measureables or the top-end speed but he makes plays, is aggressive, and TOUGH.

It's ridiculous how long it takes in Dallas for someone to get promoted/demoted.

Put the guy in for Ogletree against the Browns and let's see what happens.

Let's give it up for this guy. Last week against Atlanta he nearly broke it for a touchdown on the first punt return of the game. This time he did. It was the first punt the Cowboys had returned for a touchdown since 2010 when Dez Bryant did it twice in his rookie season. That's a long time. I've got to give credit to the blocking as well. It has gotten much better on special teams. Joe DeCamillis has come under alot of fire and rightfully so, but these two games he has gotten his unit prepared and playing very good football. Getting back to Harris you know he may not have great speed, but he's very decisive and elusive. Kind of reminds me of Patrick Crayton as far as a punt returner. Hopefully Harris keeps it up because Dallas has been missing this kind of consistent threat on returns.

Very happy with Harris in the role of punt returner. He shows good quickness and burst. Hope he can continue to go out there and make plays for us on special teams.

I agree. Coaches see players through out the week they are not going to stick a guy out there if they feel he is not ready or that the guy in front of him is better at this stage. I would like to see Harris out on the field on game days but I know you get the playing time on game day based much on what you do and show through out the week. Fans don't know this information they just want to see it but it does not work that way.

Yeah, I was just gonna say, knowing the routes and plays doesn't seem to be an essential qualification for the job.

Again they base it on what they see, not some fan who has no single clue about a player other than they don't like the current player. Hell I played sports long enough to know moves are not made on a whim, they are based on work throughout the week. You guys will turn on Harris as quickly as you do any other player, when of if they feel he is ready to get out there and become a starter he will. Hell after all it is the coaches job on the line not yours. You can make the call with no ramification at all.

Hell it is the same way with fans and all these trades you guys post all week long, trade some avg guy for a star player on other team like this is Madden.

definitely. The fumble yesterday made up my mind. He (Dunbar) also has no vision when running the ball on offense.
