The Eagles will add veteran defensive coach Dick Jauron to their coaching staff, according to a report on NFL.com, the league's official web site.

Jauron will replace Brian Stewart, who spent one year with the Eagles after serving as the Cowboys' defensive coordinator for two seasons. Stewart left earlier this month to become defensive coordinator at the University of Houston.

Jauron and Eagles head coach Andy Reid are close friends and worked together on Mike Holmgren's staff with the Packers in the mid-1990s.
