...in December. Last 4 years, Dallas is 0-6 against them in the 12th month.

Since joining the team in 2003, Dallas has put together a mediocre December record.

2003: 2-2 (W-WAS NYG, L-NO PHI) ok this is weird
2004: 2-2 (W-SEA WAS, L-NO PHI) Uh...serioulsy folks
2005: 2-2 (W-KC CAR, L-NYG WAS)
2006: 2-2 (W-NYG ATL, L-NO PHI) Could this be called a pattern?

The fact that we've lost to the Eagles and Saints in December 3 of Bill's 4 years is a bit eerie though.

IMO, December is when a coach's influence matters most. It's been a long hard season and players need that extra motivation. I hate to be a Bill basher, but it doesn't seem that Bill provides that push for his players.

Great teams play their best ball down the home stretch. I'm sure someone can find a team that won the SB years ago who lost a couple of games in December, but that's the exception rather than the rule.

This is the fourth straight year we have limped to the finish. Great teams don't do that.

What's also odd is this is the second straight year a divisional team has gone from 5-6 and ruled dead to winning their last 5 games (assuming the Igs beat Atl) to finish ahead of us.

Last year we were 7-3 and missed the playoffs. This year we were 8-4 with a two game lead and lost the division. Something needs to change. It starts at the top. BP has apparently done all he can and he can't win in crunch time, he needs to go and take Zim with him.

It definitely does start at the top. You said it right...we limp our way out of december. The team just seems to have no hunger. Seemed like they were satisfied with having made the playoffs and that was that.

I'm seriously doubting that we can beat the Lions.

That's what's so puzzling. I can understand having a bad game, like NO, for example. But as an athlete and competitor, when we were 8-4 or this past week at 9-5 playing for the division, you'd think we would have that hunger seeing what is right in front of us.

But it does seem like these guys have just been going through the motions and have been lackluster this month, as if making it to a wildcard game was good enough. The defense has been the worst. Even if they have problems with the scheme, you'd think they would put that aside and just play lights out with the opportunity they had before them. But it appears like we don't have that many character guys as we once thought.
