I've never really been involved in the Wentz/Prescott debates, but loving on Philly disgusts me.

Yesterday was the first non winless team they've beat this year...they started last year pretty well when Wentz had zero INT's ....then they go belly up after that like they always do. Wentz has some learning yet to do as does Dak....such as sliding after a run....Dak slides like they're supposed to...Wentz slides head first which will get his bell rung until he learns how....you mean all through high school, college and in his 2nd year in the NFL and nobody has tried to correct that?

Maybe Lee will get a chance to educate him on the proper technique..

I think one big difference in this year's Eagles is Ertz and Agalor aren't dropping passes.

Yes we did. We allowed the Eagles to move ahead of us and steal him. Instead we dumpster dived for a Prescott. A decision that will doom this franchise.

We're now in the well he wasn't available stage of acceptance. Right on schedule.

I will take Elliot/Prescott over Wentz any day. I don't think we should have traded up for Wentz especially for what the Browns wanted for him.

Heard a couple of stats on the radio this am that were interesting regarding tonight's game.

Wentz is 0-5 on the road against teams with a winning record.

Eagles D ranks 29th against the pass in terms of yards per game and 19th in terms of passer rating. Obviously, it's still a fairly small sample size but Cam has been sharp in his last two outings so it will be interesting to see how that plays out.

Yes, Wentz and Goff took a beating last year, but they gained experience on how to play QB. When compared to Dak, Wentz can set his feet and throw into tight windows. Dak is not setting his feet and throws in awkward positions. At present I think that the Cowboys will be the third position team in the div behind the Eagles and Washington, in that order. If you disagree, show your evidence to the contrary.

Panthers are a good team if Cam's playing well. It'll be interesting to see how much pressure they get on Wentz and what he does with it with Lane Johnson out. It would be a quality win for PHI if they can get it.

Is he definitely out? I haven't paid much attention to the media up here since we pooped the bed. The fans and media up here seem more happy the Cowboys imploded against the Packers and Rams than they fact they are 4-1.

Carolina is a Super Bowl contender if they get a running game. Never been a big Newton fan, and the Eagles finally got a quarterback that appears to be an ascending talent. I knew if we didn't get him it was going to haunt us for a decade. The fact Wentz went to the Eagles is just devastating.

Jerry needs to address the defense, and wide receiver position if we are ever going to be a contender. We can win with Prescott. I don't think it's a stretch to say he's one of the better QB's executing the short passing game as last year showed. He also has some mobility, and doesn't turn the ball over. There's a lot of quarterbacks that won a Super Bowl with those talents. Still, Jerry over evaluated Romo, and under evaluated last year's corners, and it's coming back to bite us this year. It was just dumb luck we got Prescott where we did and he's able to play at the level he's played.

They were last year this time as well until they lost 7 of their last 8 games. Hec, we GAVE them their last win in Philly. Everyone's getting too excited way too early in the season. Remember, they don't get to play Atlanta nor GB during the regular season. Before the Carolina game, the boo birds won 3 consecutive vs teams with a combined record of 3-10. What are the odds of Cam tossing 3 picks in one game after playing lights out his last 2 games including a win at New England. Sorry, I'm not on he Wentz wagon. Like I said, it's way too early to make any assumptions.
