Eagles-Carolina Game Thread

Yet another reason for me to hate Sly Stalone. He's an Iggles fan.

come on the original rocky was pretty freakin good.
You gotta admit that

Could never understand how he got smarter from Rocky 1 thru Rocky 4 and then got dumb again.

All those hits to the head finally got to him?

It's pretty freakin' sad when you're city's greatest champion of all time...

is a fictional character.

Philadelphia had/has a real life Rocky in former heavyweight champion Joe Frazier, who parallels the movie character.

But for some strange reason, the city doesn't recognize him as a hero, a man who embodies the blue-collar, pull-yourself-up-from-your-boot-straps work ethic like the fictional character does.

I wonder why?

This is the first time I've seen a QB negotiate his team into a penalty.

Great job Delhomme!

Am I imagining things are did I just see an offensive pass interference?

I didn't say they had no other champions in their history. I said their GREATEST champion is a fictional character. Frazier didn't reach the "heights" in real life that Rocky reached in the movies.

The cowboys have a statue of an actual person in front of their stadium (the great Tom Landry). The eagles put up a statue of a fake person.

That says it all, IMO.

Zzzzzzz.

This game just symbolizes the mediocrity that is most of the NFC.

Note to Plaxico Burress: see that play Keyshawn just made? That's called "not quitting on your team."

Not only did he prevent the INT, but then he stepped up and made a first down catch on the next play.

Keyshawn >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Plaxico

I love Andy Reid's face. It's classic. It is like he just woke up and found out his team is losing.

And then he makes a sweet catch for a TD to end the half.

I like Key.....he'll make the tough catch for you.

Geez Philly fans booing cause Garcia didn't stay down....that area doesn't deserve a football team
