That sucks. Hope for a speedy recovery for him. I’m also worried about the guys that got carted off. I’m all for our enemies being wounded but I’m thinking high ankle sprains, turf toe, strained muscles. I hate seeing anyone with torn ACL, torn Achilles and especially concussions or spinal injuries. I hope those guys are okay.

No. But he would play solid snaps and was on the cusp of starting.

They have Slay, Bradberry and Maddox as 1-2-3.

He was a key special teams guys and it looks like the Eagles have lost of their two best special team guys in McPherson and Shaun Bradley.

I sure hope so too. The Eagles are already getting their share. They lost a linebacker a few days ago and have a bunch of players banged up.

With Reddick out until the season starts and possibly after if he isn't ready for week 1 it would have been a good time for Smith to get some extra work in if he is ok and doesn't miss practice time.
