Paul Domowitch, of the Philadelphia Inquirer, reports the Philadelphia Eagles have given no indication that they're going to do any last-minute tweaking at the running back position. If that changes, one likely cutdown-day casualty with whom they might have some interest is Cleveland Browns RB Lee Suggs. Even though he recently failed a New York Jets physical after an attempted trade, he appears to be healthy.

Looks like pure speculation on the part of the writer. I doubt there is any validity to it.

Heck, they MIGHT have interest in Priest Holmes.

Paul Domowitch obviously listened to 610wip yesterday where a sports writer was heard talking about Lee Suggs and him being the best available RB to be cut this week. He also mentioned Lee Suggs failed physical was rumored to be a ploy after the Jets realized they could later obtain Kevin Barlow. The writer found it odd Suggs had no problem passing the Browns physical at the beginning of training camp.
