Who was the boxer that refused to call Cassius Clay by his new name, Muhammad Ali?
Anyhow, Ali beat the snot out of this dude... and he could be heard shouting "what's my name!?!" as he repeatedly
landed punches on this guy........I immediately thought of this when I read about Logan's comments.

Actually I think Logan is actually pretty good -- so far in 2014 he has 32 solo tackles (38 tackles overall) which is outstanding for a NT.

For a point of comparison Tyron Crawford has 16 solo tackles (20 tackles overall).

The Eagles also have 100 more defensive snaps.

wouldn't you love to be the guy that prints this stuff off and tapes it to the OL's lockers? then you just sit back and watch the reaction....

We've had almost the exact same schedule as they have...

But no one is comparing our pass rush to theirs. So the schedule doesn't matter.

Eagles have 38 sacks this year which looks impressive. But if you dig deeper you'll see some chinks in that armor. 24 of their 38 sacks have come in just three games - NYG, Carolina and Tennessee. That's only 14 sacks in their other 8 games. OK, not great. Their four toughest games thus far have been San Fran, Indy, Arizona and GB. In those four games they have only 5 sacks (and 4 were against San Fran - they didn't register a sack in the Arizona or Indy games).

So the Eagles pass rush might be overrated just a tad. The feast on bad teams with bad OLs but seem to be handled by better teams. Will be interesting to see how we handle their blitz.

This is coming from a guy who plays on a defence that is only 2 weeks removed from having the packers hang 50+ on them ... I know the pack are good, but there D was bad ... and I believe there D has given up more points than ours and I would say our is pretty much a D where we just plugged in people.

Yet they are ranked 30th in pass defense due to their bad secondary.

their secondary is BAD - they have been getting by with QB pressure - so the guys dont have to cover for very long. In addition their schedule has allowed them so far to play most games against avg to below avg QB - except game 2 against Luck and 2 weeks ago against Rodgers.

Rodgers torched them - Luck had an ok game but to me the colts blew that game with some poor coaching.

In addition the eagles are weak at pass coverage at ILB so there should be favorable matchups against their corners, safeties and LB.

If the line can give Romo time there should be plenty of open guys.

You know, I hope you're right.

To be honest. That sack total is up because they have been feasting on terrible offenses and offensive lines. Notice that they have a losing record against playoff teams.

Yea losing as in Lost Every Game......(colts was a gift from the refs that I refused to count :)

Their pass rush has been helped by their offense putting up a lot of points. When bad teams get behind they tend to become predictable and throw way too much.
