It doesn't appear as if Ken Hamlin is in the Cowboys' long-term plans. But enough teams need safeties, and the one that should be most distressing to Dallas is Philadelphia. With one signing, the Eagles could strengthen their roster and weaken the Cowboys. -- NFL Network

This is a piece intended to get a rise from Cowboy fans. If he isn't in our long term plans (which doesn't seem evident yet), why would we be upset that losing him weakens us?

The Eagles don't open the check book...I will never buy an Eagles FA rumor until I see a press conference.

Seeing that it appears they're going to tag him, according to another report, I seriously doubt the Eagles are looking to give up 2 #1 picks for him. So I'd say he's in the long term plans for Dallas.

Seeing as how I heard we just franchised Hamlin, I doubt this is an issue.

I don't know about anybody else, but I wouldn't mind getting two first round picks out of Hamlin.
