The Eagles should beat Detroit at home tomorrow, but they are quite banged up. If they fail to get it done...and sit 1-2, consider what would come next for them:

@Packers, 2-0 this Thursday
Jets
@Vikings
@cowboys 2-0
@Bills 2-0
Bears
Patriots 2-0
Seahawks 2-0

They do have a very soft schedule in their last 5 games. I hope they get buried early.

Agree. I was looking at the same thing. If they lose to Detroit, it could get really ugly for them.
I hope it does.

Couple of losses in a row and they may start panicking. I know their fans will.

Mods, your decision to move this to the NFL zone is wrong.

They are our chief rival. This is a Cowboys discussion.

Bad timing for them to have a short week with that Thursday night Packers game.

If that happens they could be looking at 1-3 by this upcoming Friday with the Packers coming up on short week.

Exactly. With more tough road games following, then Pats and Seahawks at home. Flip side of this...if they can somehow get themselves to 5-5...they probably still make the playoffs.

4 of their last 5 are Giants (2x), Skins, and Fins.

Yeah, they could fall behind Dallas and still be in better position in the home stretch. Better to match up the games in the schedule to see where one or the other has an edge.

Both teams beat Washington. We beat them on the road, Philly at home, so slight advantage to Dallas.
We beat the Giants. Philly will beat the Giants. Wash.
Philly lost their NFC South game (Atlanta). If we win ours, (New Orleans), that gives us a game up on them. If we lose that game, we're still even.

Good eye for the contests that have weighted value.

This might sound lame, but if you'd give me a split of the two Eagle games, right here, right now...I'd probably take it. I think a split would give us the division.

I think one of the biggest Eagle challenges is "Wentz-belief"

I don't know if the players believe in him and I don't know if he believes in himself. If Philly starts off 3-5 or so, those doubts start to spread...and get into their bone. For us Cowboys that could be a very sweet development. For this year and for years to come.

The next significant injury, those fans are going to turn on him. Especially if Dak is still playing well.
