anyway... eagles offense puts up 27 with ease... they can do it on just about anyone... its their defense that is the concern... without Samuels and Hobbs.. they have a weak secondary... and now that Stewart Bradly is done... its gonna be tough to go deep..

but who knows... a home game in the playoffs... and then maybe Atlanta in the GA Dome... whom they will destroy on that turf.... they could make a run.

Number 2, they lost two more defensive players last night and With the giants getting healthy they are going to have a hard time beating a physical team with all its players.

number 3, I dont think they sniff the superbowl. this is an andy reid team. he will screw something up in the playoffs.

and most importantly they are not in the playoffs yet and we still have a chance to get the last laugh and knock them out possibly the last week.

the eagles are a big play team.. they get a few every game... they make you cover so much ground each play that eventually a mistake will happen

Their trophycase will remain empty. The way their best WR carried on immaturely after the game will be the reason why. Playoff calliber defenses will shut that nonsense down. Dallas proved that last season when we were playing that level of D. Plus, the Eagles don't have a playoff-caliber D of their own to tkae to the playoffs. At this point I don't see anybody beating the Patriots. And I don't think the Pats are all that great, but for whatever reason players and coaches lose their minds playing these guys. I watched the Pats get stomped on by the Browns who weren't afraid of them and didn't get away from how they usually play teams.

I don't see the cheap shot. Outside of the Spencer push O.B...which was close.

The helmet to helmet wasn't a cheap shot. Mainly because Spencer didn't hit him helmet to helmet (regardless of what Collinsworth says). His helmet just missed Vick by about an inch or so. The actual helmet to helmet was on Olshansky, but that was because Vick fell into Olshansky. Clearly it wasn't intentional.

I dunno. I wasn't all that impressed with the Eagles. They beat a 4-8 team with a 38 year old QB and have looked much less lethal on offense. Plus, their defense has not played well this year. And they probably won't get HFA over the Falcons.

And I think if the Packers are somewhat healthy, they'll be a tough team to beat.

That's why I said, "If he stays healthy." He is going to take an incredible beating, especially during the playoffs when Vick faces better defenses and better defensive schemes.

Everybody has their own set of morals in life and some things may bother them, some things may not, and some things cross the line and are unforgiveable.

My favorite college bball team that I grew up with had a player that punched a female at a night club. I refused to watch them until he was gone. Thankfully, the head coach wanted him gone, but there was nothing he could do about it until the end of the season for legal issues. Once he was gone, I started to root for the team again.

That doesn't make it right, but it certainly doesn't make it wrong.

For me, if the Cowboys had cheated like the Patriots did, I would not be a fan of the Cowboys anymore. I know first hand how people's livelihoods are at hand in the NFL and while they get paid well, they put in more than enough work to justify that. And the Pats basically crapped all over that and cost people their livelihoods and hurt many careers.

If morals should not have mattered at all, then they should just go out and have games in prison on TV. I'm sure it would be entertaining to a certain level and the prisons could always use the money.

thats your personal standard. i watch sports to relax. i don't care what they do off the field because i am not invested in their lively-hoods. I am not paying for that (Free-to-Air takes care of that)...

and i don't want everyone to act like peyton manning out there... sports is a past time for me... make it fun... and taunting and all that is fine with me... they are grown men... they can answer back... maybe that's me from the playground days... taunting and smack talk was all in good fun... as long as it doesn't hurt anyone its all good.

having and setting low standards gets low results.

Players need to play this game with respect of the game, divison rivals always have heated exchanges but that is not the same as what went on last night.
