Eagles turns their attention to the backfield Thursday as it plays host to free-agent running back Ron Dayne.

A former Heisman Trophy winner, Dayne will meet with coaches and team personnel at the NovaCare Complex and will then meet the media at 3:30 PM.

At 5-foot-10, 243-pounds, Dayne would add some much-needed bulk to the Eagles backfield and provide a nice change of pace from versatile playmaker Brian Westbrook.

The only time he did anything was with the Broncos on 1 play in the Thanksgiving game.
