I don't know about the rest of you, but I like to frequent Eagle forums (especially "Igglephans.com) and relish in their sorrows. I'm from PA and lived there through the 60's, 70's & 80's.......a Cowboy fan amongst all those enemies (Eagles, Giants, Steelers). Eagle fans, of course, were/are the bottom feeding, most despicable and lowdown of them all. I have a few teams I despise. The usual suspects like the Whiners, the Skins, any new "darling America's team", etc........The Saints are on my new poop list for the way the carried on last year after beating us, but they got points back for eliminating the Eagles. The Eagles, hands down, are my No. 1 "hate".
I've been "banned" from a few of their forums for no other reason than being a Cowboy fan and reminding them when they get all full of themselves that they have (and never will) no rings.
Anyway, their eating their young over there now, regretting and fighting amongst themselves about "allowing" T.O. to leave. Two years ago, about 99% of them were serving up the expected drivel about how glad they were he was out of Philly and going to Dallas (their No. 1 ***** envy), and how they were going to enjoy watching T.O. dismantle the Cowboys with his "act". They were salivating about the prospect of Owens coming to Dallas and causing chaos and confusion. They mistook their sorry front office, coaching staff and QB for a quality organization like Dallas.
Now, a lot of them are blaming the Owner/Lurie, Reid and McNubb for blowing it and over reacting. Saying that these guys are a bunch of babies and brats for not at least meeting T.O. halfway. Critical of them for not putting the team ahead of their own issues with Terrell.
It's something to behold if you go over their for a visit. Imagine, Eagle fans longing for the "good ole days" of Terrell Owens!!
I know it's early. So I'm holding my powder over there for now. I got thumped last year and had to eat a lot of crap with the way the season ended. But I don't see THAT again this year. I really don't.
And when it all goes down, I'm going to assault Eagle fans with every fiber of my being...................
