Didnt see it posted in this or the NFL forum, if it is and I missed it, feel free to delete or move.

ESPN is reporting Allen ruptured the patellar tendon, will have surgery and is out for the season.

He injured himself basically walking back towards the play. It was IDK.. I'm at a loss for words on how he injured himself.

Yes, he is done. Unless VICK gets hurt, it does not seem to matter. They lose their starting MLB and his rookie replacement has good game and lead team in tackles. I hate them.

Allen was only a rookie, but from all the games i've watched he was covering up for alot of mistakes on his side of the field. Watch if the Eagles make the playoffs how hard good QB's will expose Dimitri Patterson now. He's the Eagles starting corner on that side of the field and he was absoutely torn apart by Eli. He can't stop anyone. I don't expect the Eagles to go far if/when they make the playoffs.

That sucks. Good young player. I wish we had him though now that he has a ruptured patella tendon, I think we do have him = Ball.

He was having a hell of a rookie year... Dallas missed out on some REALLY good safeties in the 2010 draft.

Not counting yesterdays games, according to that pro Football Focus article from last weeks Dallas/Philly game Nate Allen was tied for the league lead in TD's allowed by safeties with 6. It didnt say who he was tied with.

Probably Sean Taylor.

Ball is so out of position on so many TD's that they can't even attribute the true number of scores he's allowed. The Reverend got pretty toasted last night as well, but at least he was close to the receivers.
